Reaching Students with the Gospel

We exist to make sure every student in our community has the opportunity to encounter Christ, especially those who might never step into a church or hear the gospel any other way. Since launching in 2019 in Rohnert Park, California, we’ve been driven by a deep conviction to go where students already are and to live out the gospel in a way that’s real and visible.

At On Campus Ministries, we don’t just talk about ministry, we step into it. We do this through two expressions: Sozo and Squatch’s. Sozo is our free Christian student center for middle and high school students. We intentionally share the gospel with students who would most likely never hear it, building real relationships as they encounter Jesus. Squatch’s is our Christian coffee and ice cream shop run by interns and volunteers where all the profits go towards supporting sozo. We create an inviting space where conversations about faith happen naturally and consistently.

For graduates of Calvary Bible Institute, this is an opportunity to take what you’ve learned and put it into practice. As an intern, you won’t be on the sidelines; you'll be actively discipling students, sharing the gospel, serving in a missional environment, and growing in leadership. Whether you feel called to pastoral ministry, missions, or simply want to deepen your faith and gain real-world ministry experience, this is a place to be stretched, refined, and equipped for lifelong ministry.
